Christa Guymon Nelson

Christa has been providing personalized legal counsel to the citizens of Cedar City and the surrounding Southern Utah areas since 2012. 

Christa's private practice focuses on family law, criminal defense, and personal injury.  Much of her time is spent helping families navigate through complicated issues like divorce, child-custody, paternity, and adoption.

In addition to her private practice, Christa devotes a significant amount of time to advocating for parental rights in child welfare cases.  She also sits on the Board of Directors for the local Children's Justice Center. 

Christa was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah where she graduated from Cedar High School, before pursing a Bachelor's Degree at Southern Utah University.  Before law school, Christa spent time living in Washington, D.C., working for the White House Drug Policy Office.  She then received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah.  After receiving her law degree, Christa returned to Cedar City to work with her family's business at The Park Firm, P.C.  Christa lives in Cedar City with her husband, Jed, and their daughter, Dottie.
